Additionally, SDBG is able to draw on qualified and experienced resource persons within the BNSJ Group in areas such as finance, accounting, administration, operations and legal affairs.

Brian Frazer, VP, Asset Management & GM, Scotia DBG Funds Managers Ltd., has overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the unit’s business and product development, as well as the management of the daily operations of Scotia DBG Fund Managers Limited.

He has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry and has earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Economics (Honours) at UWI. He is currently a level three candidate of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

He serves on the Scotia DBG ALCO and Investment Committees He is also the registered Responsible Officer for Scotia DBG Fund Managers Ltd.

Lisa Dixon, Senior Manager, Asset Management, is directly responsible for the management of the investment portfolios of pension funds, foundations and personal trusts. She currently manages the investments of the Scotia DBG Fund Managers Limited Mutual and Unit Trust Funds. She has over fifteen years of experience in investment management including fund management within defined risk profiles, equity analysis, market analysis and project evaluation.

Lisa holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from Hofstra University, New York and a BSc. in Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Stephanie Shaw, Investment Manager, is directly responsible for the management of the investment portfolios of pension funds, foundations and personal trusts accounts. She currently manages the investments of the Scotia DBG Fund Managers Limited Mutual and Unit Trust Funds and is an award winning equity analyst in the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s Research Competition.

Miss Shaw holds a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona and is currently a level three candidate of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

Kevin Hemans, Investment Assistant, joined SDBG in February 2007. In this role he provides administrative support to the Fund Managers through the daily preparation of investment memos, various client reports, and maintenance of several databases for the Unit Trust.
