Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 stocks of which 4 advanced, 5 declined and 3 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 486,993 units valued at over $3,225,313. Supreme Ventures Limited was the volume leader with 267,146 units (54.86%) followed by National Commercial Bank of Jamaica Ltd. with 84,219 units (17.29%) and Mayberry Inv Ltd 12% with 63,500 units (13.04%).
Capital & Credit (CCFG) recorded the largest percentage gain by advancing 3.12% or $0.10 to end the trading session at $3.30 . Scotia Group Jamaica (SGJ) recorded the second highest gain of the day, up $0.07 or 0.33% to close today's session at $21.4. Jmmb Limited (JMMB) rounds out the third spot with a $0.01 or 0.25% increase to close at $4.01.
Radio Jamaica (RJR) registered the largest decline, falling $0.1 or 3.31% to close the day at $2.92 ; Seprod (SEP) lost $0.65 or 3% to end today's session at $21.05. Mayberry Inv Ltd 12% (MIL12) saw its value decline by 1.37% or $0.04 to close at $2.88.
The JSE Market Index declined by 11.76 points (0.01%) to close at 86,223.93. The JSE Select Index advanced by 1.84 points (0.08%) to close at 2,223.08. The JSE All Jamaican Composite declined by 19.12 points (0.02%) to close at 81,653.05.
