Scotia DBG’s Capital Management Account (CMA) is ideal for the busy investor who wants to minimize the hassle of managing their investment, while maximizing their profit.

With the CMA, Scotia DBG enters into an agreement with you, the client, allowing us to invest funds (JA, USD, CAD, GBP, EURO) on your behalf.

The CMA is a fairly liquid investment, where your money will be easily accessible. Our experienced team of advisors will actively manage your investments, making this product ideal for the new investor. In addition, you will benefit from attractive returns.

How do I determine if the CMA is right for me?

The CMA Account is best suited for the investor who has short-term goals of savings toward a vacation, home improvement, or buying a car. It is also suitable for clients who desire ready access to their funds, while getting good returns.

Scotia DBG’s Relationship Officers will personally assist you in determining if the CMA is right for you.

Do I have ready access to my investment?

The minimum investment period for the CMA is thirty (30) days for JA and US currencies, and ninety (90) days for accounts denominated in GBP, CAD and EURO. You may encash your investment at anytime thereafter.

How risky is the CMA?

For the investor who seeks moderate risk, the CMA is comprised of commercial loans, and securities/financial instruments issued or guaranteed by the Government of Jamaica.

How long do I have to invest to get the best rates?

The CMA attracts a variable rate per month. Generally, the longer you invest, the greater your return.
