Ms. HoShue has achieved a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics & Management and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Manchester. She applies her education and considerable experience to the development of the Merchant Bank’s loan, deposit and syndicated deal making business.
Scotia DBG Merchant Bank Ltd. (Scotia DBG MB) was established in January 1999, out of a merger agreement between Scotia DBG Ltd. and Billy Craig Finance and Merchant Bank Ltd. In 2001, negotiations were completed to purchase the remaining shares in the Merchant Bank that were held by FINSAC. As an expanding organization, in 2003, approval was given by the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) to acquire Issa Trust and Merchant Bank Ltd. Today, Scotia DBG MB operates as an independent entity and is a fully owned subsidiary of Scotia DBG Merchant Bank.
Scotia DBG MB is a member of the Jamaica Deposit Insurance Corporation (JDIC), a Merchant Bank regulated by the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ), and Authorized Foreign Exchange Dealers.
