development and daily operations of the May Pen Branch. With over fourteen years of banking experience, Ms. Sappleton, who is from the parish, has gained a wealth of knowledge of the Jamaican financial markets. She has achieved a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Business Administration (honours) from the University of the West Indies and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the Florida International University.
Scotia DBG’s May Pen Branch opened its doors in July of 2002 and is headed by Assistant Vice President / Branch Manager, Jasmine Sappleton.
Like its Head Office in Kingston, the May Pen branch offers an array of products and services for both individual and commercial investors, namely, Money Market and Unit Trust investments, Foreign Exchange Trading, and a Stockbrokerage service.
The branch is located at 52 Main Street in May Pen and services the burgeoning communities from the entire parish of Clarendon to Old Harbour in St Catherine. The team endeavours to provide exceptional customer service and investment advice to these communities by attracting some of the brightest minds from these very communities as Investment Advisors.
