Anya Schnoor - CEOAs Executive Vice President - Wealth Management and Insurance–Scotiabank Group, Anya Schnoor is responsible for the Group’s Wealth Management Division which includes Scotia Insurance, the provider of ScotiaMINT, Scotia Private Client Group and Scotia DBG Investments Limited, of which she is the Chief Executive Officer.
Anya Schnoor has over 15 years of experience in the areas of investments and banking, and holds an MBA from Barry University and a BA in Finance and International Business from Florida International University.
Anya currently serves as the President of the Jamaica Security Dealers Association and sits on the Board of Scotia DBG Investments Ltd., Scotia DBG Merchant Bank Ltd., Scotia DBG Fund Managers Limited, Asset Management Company Ltd. and the Jamaica Stock Exchange as well as on Scotiabank Jamaica’s Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO), and the Finance Committee of Heart Trust NTA. Over the following 15 years he was a senior executive in Operations in the Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and Puerto Rico where in 2004 he held the post of President & CEO
In each country in which he has worked, Bruce has been involved in charitable and private sector activities. Bruce holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and is the recipient of that University’s 1984 Gold Medal for the top graduating grade point average. Bruce Bowen is married to Suzanne Fernando-Bowen and together they have 5 children.
